This is thanks to, among other things, the ease with which these building materials can be used, but also their high breakage resistance, impact resistance and insensitivity to UV radiation. Light panels are ideal for allowing natural daylight to shine through in halls, stables, conservatories, terraces or carports. The thinner the light panels selected, the narrower the steel or wood construction of the substructure for the roof panels needs to be. This is the only way to guarantee an optimum load capacity for the translucent roof surface.

Fewer work steps thanks to the patented DSH distance set

The screw system for light panels specially developed by REISSER replaces the time-consuming pushing underneath of spacers. It enables simple, quick one-man assembly and is gentle on the material. The DSH distance set combines the spacer, the pre-fitted seal and the fastening screw in one fastening element. There is no need for assembly on the roof. When pre-drilling with the optimised REISSER step drill, slippage is not possible thanks to the integrated stop ring. Damage to the substructure and the enormous wear and tear on drill heads can thereby be avoided. To complete fastening of the light panels, REISSER supplies an expansion fastener for panel butt joints. The FixFlex connects the overlapping parts (plastic profile + metal profile) and provides sufficient room for expansion when the weather changes.
