Chipless on the building envelope

RP-TD (-P) - THE self-drilling screw for metal on wood

The original from REISSER

Chipless fastening on the building envelope

The approved self-drilling screw for sandwich fastening, which penetrates the cover sheets of sandwich elements without creating chips and, thanks to the DRIBO® drill element, screws into the wooden substructure with a reduced splitting effect.

Double cost and time saving thanks to the patented geometry

Our patented combination of a double thread at the tip and an asymmetrical wood thread saves you twice as much time and therefore money too.
The chip-free fastening eliminates the need for pre-drilling and subsequent cleaning of the roof surface.

RP-TD (-P)

The material is broken up and displaced downwards instead of being removed.
There is no chip waste on the roof surface.

Conventional drilling screw

Causes chips on the roof, which can damage the surface and cause corrosion.
On the facade, falling chips cause corrosion on the drip edge plate, making extensive cleaning absolutely essential.

DOUBLE THREAD UNDER HEAD

FOR EVEN GREATER SAFETY AND A PERFECT LOOK

Thanks to the two tapered threads under the head, the cover sheet is pressed firmly against the EPDM sealing disc.

The advantage are:

  • A durable and reliable seal
  • Straight screw connection - no visible dents
  • The cover sheet does not sag even due to heavier snow loads and strong temperature fluctuations
  • The roof surface is safe to walk on without the cover sheet sagging
